My work seeks to engage with the experience of trying to fit in . It is a personal subject matter but at the same time a common experience. exploring my own experiences of intersectionality, ranging from class and gender to sexuality and disability. My work explores ideas on a physical level through the inherent qualities of different materials and how they speak to each other. I have been making Art for 30 years and the subject matter has changed over time, but always returns to personal subjects that seek to engage with the viewer and open a dialogue
